PATIENT-CENTERED MEDICAL HOME
Children’s Medical Center has been awarded recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance as a Patient-Centered Medical Home at four of our practices - Greenville, Simpsonville, Powdersville and Greer.
The NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) program reflects the input of the American College of Physicians (ACP), American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and others. It was developed to assess whether clinician practices are functioning as medical homes and recognize them for these efforts.
We are proud to have received this recognition as evidence of our commitment to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. The medical choices you make for your children are critical so we use current evidence-based care and guidelines.
The NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home standards emphasize the use of systematic, patient-centered, coordinated care that supports access, communication and patient involvement.
